Customer’s Requirements:
The R&D department at Stratco developed a new innovative design for the Stratco Outback® Gable patio. A key element of the new product was easy installation and intuitive bracketry that enhanced its clean, seamless design. The industrial designers worked with Laser 3D as part of a back-and-forth collaboration to iterate through concept to design and manufacture.
The R&D team were impressed with the quick turnaround and quality product offered by Laser 3D. This support was certainly needed as over 150 distinct parts required several iterations of prototypes and subsequent testing. Etching was required for indicating bend lines and integrating id codes. The development project is now complete and Stratco are now supplying a market leading patio product that relies on components cut, etched, and folded by Laser 3D.
